Publishing Policy

The following guidelines pertain to posting community news and events to the Community News section of the Gujarati Samaj of Minnesota ("The Samaj") website:
The Samaj is pleased to share news and events related to the Gujarati community on our website. We only accept news in one of the following categories:
- Starting a new business/venture
- Organizing/bringing a special event to the Gujarati community
- Achieving milestone or promotion in career
- Important family event, such as graduation, wedding, or death
Community News and Events postings are limited to active Samaj members at the time of submitting. The Samaj Committee reserves the right to reprint, modify, distribute or delete any posting at its discretion. The Samaj also reserves the right to accept and deny news and events postings. All decisions are final.
All postings have a certain expiration date (for example, event postings will be deleted after the event is completed).
If you would like to share news and events that meet these guidelines with your fellow Samaj members, please send your announcements (limited to 100 words) to email address "gs.committee AT gmail.com" - replace AT with the @ sign.
The Samaj Committee reserves the right to change this Publishing Policy.
